If I want to use a widely available image of a public figure, say Larry King, on my own website, how do I make sure whether it is in the public domain thus having no copyright protection? Since usually it is the photographer that owns the copyright, is there a simple way to find out whom the photographer is, or I should contact the public figure directly? What about those images floating on the internet that are TV screen shots of Larry King broadcasting? Are they safe to use?

Is it just me, or is Larry King the WORST interviewer ever? It seems like he is totally unprepared, and 100% uninterested in talking to whoever he gets to come on his show. He hardly asks follow up questions during interviews, I actually wonder if he ever hears their responses at all?
How does he still get such big names on his show? Is it time for him to retire?

Just last night on Larry King, when asked McCain said that there are no problems between he and Sarah Palin.

Now, his camp wants to scapegoat her (per the article) if they lose.

Why did McCain tell a blatant lie about this?
